My role as fabricator at EFX was one of my first professional experiences in the industry that exists between engineering and entertainment.
Welding: I welded the Twisted Tea 16 foot rolling crate that was fabricated for a commercial, this was all spool gun aluminum MIG. I also welded a mobile bar for Twisted Tea using heavy wall steel and normal MIG.
CNC operation: I routed 80 walls for EFX's stage wall system, this was production CNC work. I also routed aluminum on our router using a mister and slow feed rate for the RAMS game delivery bags to the right.
Coding, video wall: I created a light java program in Processing that ran this 7 segment display timer for the opening of Universal Fan Fest's Back to the Future, in the style of Back to the Future's original release billboard.
Wiring: I wired and ran LEDs for 20 pylons for Fan Fest at Universal, with chasing light effects, and terminated all the lights in waterproof connectors.
